Instructions for TEE-PEE Indian tent
Which child wouldn't want to have their own shelter once in a while, right at home? One stylish can also indulge in our own skill. The added value is that you can complete some stages of production with older children together. There is no common experience! This is exactly what we made for our babies. Get inspired by a simple photo tutorial :)
1. To get started we need wooden rods: 5 pcs - 200 cm x diameter 1.8 cm; I found them in Kinekus (1pc / 1,62 €).
2. Mark the holes 25 cm from the top. Later we pass the wire through here and make the whole structure stable and safe. I indicated the holes before painting the tops, it is enough to mark them even after painting.
3. The tops of the bars will be gray and red. In this way the bars dry after the gray layer has been applied to the tops.
4. I colored the red part, we dry, we wait with prepared wire to strengthen the tops of the structure.
5. Drill holes.

6. Thread the wire.

7. Now put the tent poles in the shape of a pyramid, cross them at the top and strengthen them.

8. Measure the fabrics and cut 4 identical triangles, which will be isosceles with a 175 cm long arm and a base long depending on how big you want to have the tent. We had 95 cm. If you give the base wider, the tent will be larger.
9. We created one triangle per tent by stitching the remnants of the fabrics we used for other masterpieces. Stan made it cheerful and childish. Again, we retain the dimensions of the arms and the base of the triangle.
10. Thus we have 5 dimensionally identical substances in the shape of a triangle.
11. Sew all triangles along long edges into one big cloak. If you do not have a sewing machine at home, the triangles can be sewn with some thick thread, respectively. string by hand on wooden sticks.

12. At the bottom of each sewn joint we sewed a square of fabric, which created a small pocket into which we will put the tent poles in the construction of the tent.
13. We cut one of the five triangles in the middle to about two-thirds to create a tent entrance. On this side we sewed an Indian-style trim on both sides.
14. Wrap LED lights around 1/3 to 1/2 of the bars. I used the Christmas bulbs from the sale.
15. Put the tent casing through the upper opening onto the spread out 5-angled tent structure and insert the lower parts of the sticks into the prepared feet.

16. The tent is born. We just decorate it by sewing colored feathers, which we placed freely after the tent.

17. Ground mat - multi-layered mat or playing mat, if you have a home ...
18. Pillows on the sides and back wall of the tent.
AND IT´S DONE!!!
